WOYWW A lot has happened in the past 9 months!!!

A lot has happened in Casa Hardwick since my last post in January 2013. Namely I've started back at full-time work, we sold our house, we moved into a rental, we bought a house and we moved in about 4 weeks ago.

Needless to say, not much crafting has happened in this time since all my craft goodies had been packed away and I've only just unpacked everything (but I'm still trying to get my new studio set up).  I no longer have a little studio outside but now I'm under the main roof which means I won't feel the cold so much!!!

So at this stage I don't really have much to report save to say I'm hopefully back on deck!

Here is a picture of my new digs and a couple of the most recent ATCs I've created for the PaperArts group of which I'm a member. (unfortunately my camera battery died and I haven't found my chargers just yet)

I will endeavour to check out some of your blogs, and hopefully some of you will be back to visit min again.

I promise to be a little more regular now that I'm almost back to full speed again. Don't forget to visit Julia's blog where she showcases other artists work.  Enjoy your day and until next time.  ;D

  1. Welcome Back! I can't even begin to imagine how stressful all that going on has been, but I'm sure you'll find Mr Mojo in with your crafty stuff somewhere. Have a good week, Hugs, Shaz #31 xx

    1. Thanks for stopping by Ria...yes, I can't wait to get creating on a regular basis again. I've even geared up for it by setting up my own ETSY store today...now I just have to get making (cards, scarves etc) and get selling.

  7. Oh that is indeed lots of things! But have you really not crafted all that time? I'd go crazy! If I haven't crafted for a week or 2 I feel like I am about to explode, and even when we're busy I still need to make a quick something. Just a little stamp here. And some backgroundmaking there. Diecutting, well ok, I'll do that too. And before I know it I'm 2 hours forward in time with a full desk... Crafting is my outlet, it helps me relax and unwind. Somewhere this year we hope to sell our appartment and move into another house, but it's so much to do... keep your house supersuper clean for showings (and that with a toddler and baby...)... moving 250 km so no quick back and forth to drop off a few things allready or renovate...nope, not looking forward to that hassle. But I am looking forward to a house with a garden and a garage, and a kitchen at ground level so I don't have to go up 2 stairs anymore with my groceries! (and stroller and 2 kids). Enough complaining. I had a quick look at your previous post and liked your work there, with the vintage/moviestar images. I like the ones you show above here too! I hope to be back next time to see what you made!

  8. Thanks Debbie...it was a forced non-crafting time as all my equipment was packed away whilst we were renting. I did pull out the occasional stamp that I had left out for that "just in case" moment, but apart from that, nothing, zilch, nada!

Once I get my room fully unpacked (by the end of this coming weekend) I will be free to create whenever I choose to.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment.

  10. Good grief, that's been a very busy year for you, looking forward to seeing your new crafty space when it's all sorted out! I got my storage carousel at a big craft store in the US, I didn't make it, I'm not that good but thanks for thinking I might be, lol!
